Kadlec Senior Pharmacy Technician in Kennewick, Washington

Description

Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, performs technical medication dispensing functions in compliance with written policies and procedures; Performs a variety of clerical support duties, label preparation activities, stock maintenance functions, and maintenance of computerized logs and records; Performs other routine departmental support activities approved by the COORD PHARMACIST ONCOLOGY SVC; May enter prescription orders into the clinics' outpatient prescription system and select medications for filling prescription orders as permitted under Washington State administrative code.

Required Qualifications:

  • Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.

  • 10 or more years - Cumulative work experience including 5000 hours in chemotherapy admixing (2.5 years) and 5000 hours in non-hazardous admixing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training - Chemistry and mathematics.

  • Supervisory experience.
