Providence Quality Program Manager *Remote* in Oregon

Description

The Quality Program Manager is tasked with developing and implementing strategies to enhance the Medicare Advantage line of business and the Medicare Stars program, focusing on clinical quality, member experience, and health outcomes.

The Quality Program Manager will:

  • Utilize established quality improvement methodologies to lead performance improvement projects and programs, enhancing compliance with individual measures and Stars ratings

  • Facilitate cross-functional committees, including charter development, meeting preparation, and follow-up

  • Develop, implement, and monitor interventions and action plans, adjusting as necessary for effectiveness

  • Leverage data to inform decision-making, with a comprehensive understanding of the population

  • Collaborate with internal departments, leaders, vendors, and external partners to drive measurable improvements

  • Demonstrate strong project management skills, capable of organizing, facilitating, and managing multiple projects and programs simultaneously

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Medicare Advantage quality improvement and the Stars program

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience

  • Master's Degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Health Science, Health Services Administration, or other healthcare or business-related field -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience

  • 3 or more years of experience working in, or with a managed care organization or clinical setting in a managed environment

  • 3 or more years’ experience in project management or program management

  • Demonstrated experience in program planning, development, and evaluation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience facilitating multi-disciplinary committees including meeting preparation and follow-up (Charters, Agendas, Minutes)

  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations to all levels of an organization

  • Intermediate or higher-level skillset using MS Office Products including but not limited to: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, Visio

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to organize, facilitate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • CPHQ (Certified Professional Healthcare Quality)
