Manager RN – Assisted Living/Long Term/Transitional Care – Sister Care
Saint Joseph Residence at Providence Mount St. Vincent in West Seattle, WA is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to manage the nursing department in our neighborhood.
This role is a unique experience to work in an all-female wing of our facility, working to care for retired or ill Sisters from a variety of religious communities (Sisters of Providence, Benedictines, Dominicans, etc.). Care for patients with fascinating life stories, having spent their lives serving their communities. About the role:
The Registered Nurse (RN) Manager has overall responsibility, authority and 24-hour accountability for the management of all residents and caregivers in their assigned neighborhood. Neighborhood management includes development and implementation of a resident/patient directed service model which integrates the concepts of choice, privacy, dignity, individuality and a home-like environment.
Neighborhood management includes maintaining budgets, staffing levels, licensure requirements and quality management programs to implement the resident/patient directed model. In this role, you will be highly visible in the neighborhood at various shifts and be willing to assist with resident care as urgent need arises.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
3 years experience in a nursing leadership/management role
2 years experience in a Long Term Care setting including end-of-life care
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year Experience with palliative care programs
